مقدمه
This review delves into the prevalent trends in utilizing various questionnaires and tools within the domains of ergonomics, primarily focusing on musculoskeletal disorders. A systematic exploration of articles published between 2010 and 2022 across 18 Q1 and Q2 ergonomics journals was conducted to investigate the methodologies employed in this field.

A comprehensive search identified 184 articles for analysis, evaluating the questionnaire or tool types, study objectives, and the targeted population within each article.

The Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ) emerged as the most frequently utilized questionnaire, closely followed by the Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder, and Hand (DASH) questionnaire. For ergonomic assessments, the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) and Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) were the most commonly employed tools. Predominantly, studies aimed to pinpoint risk factors associated with musculoskeletal disorders or assess the efficacy of ergonomic interventions. The studies primarily focused on workers across diverse industries, with healthcare professionals as the subsequent population of interest.

The review highlights the prominence of the NMQ and DASH questionnaires for musculoskeletal disorder assessments, while RULA and REBA serve as widespread tools for ergonomic evaluations. However, there exists a necessity for further research aimed at formulating and validating new questionnaires and tools tailored to specific populations and work environments. The findings underscore current trends while emphasizing the need to address gaps in musculoskeletal disorder research and ergonomic intervention methodologies.
