مقدمه
One of the pivotal aspects in designing the interior space of automobiles is the accommodation of its components for passenger use, often referred to as "packaging." During the design phase and accommodation process, careful attention must be paid to ergonomic considerations, especially anthropometry, biomechanics, and sight angles. To facilitate user experience testing, a structure allowing the integration of this layout and design is necessary. Dimensions, rail placements, ranges of variation, new profiles, and angles of adjustment are questions that must be addressed to construct this framework. This study, based on Iranian anthropometric dimensions and packaging requirements, aimed to extract the necessary variables for design and construction.
مواد و روشها
Standard passenger car dimensions were utilized as the minimum functional space. The anthropometric table provided by the Ministry of Health was employed. Considering the potential for variation in the accommodation of internal car components across common car platforms, the placement, angles, and ranges of motion of the rails were specified.
یافتهها
The outcome of this study presents a comprehensive map of rail dimensions and installation locations for seating, steering wheel, cooler, dashboard elements, mirrors, front windshield frame, door, pedals, gauges, ceiling lights, and sunroof. Additionally, the selected profile was a four-way aluminum profile.
نتیجهگیری
The feasibility of constructing user experience laboratories from an ergonomic perspective in the field of automotive interior design is evident in this study. The provided maps offer a blueprint for constructing such laboratories.
